Welcome

Everton Community Church: Established 1861: Over 150 years!

Everton Community Church is a rural non-denominational evangelical congregation in Everton Ontario, just North-East of Guelph at Hwy 124 and the 7th line/Wellington Rd 49.

The object of this church is recognizing and accepting Christ as the one supreme Lord and Lawgiver and taking His Word as its only and sufficient rule of faith and practice, set forth in its Statement of Faith, namely:

  • for worship
  • for biblical instruction
  • the observance of the divinely instituted ordinances
  • the presentation of a corporate testimony to the power of the Gospel in its constituency, and such service as the Gospel requires both at home and abroad.

What to expect on a Sunday Morning

You are welcome to come and join us for a time of God centered worship and Scripture-based preaching. Our Sunday morning service begins at 10:30 am led by one of our elders. The music is a blend of traditional and contemporary selections inviting participants to join in song.  Different members of the congregation take turns providing musical accompaniment and leading different components of the service. The whole family gathers for the first half of the service.  There is an announced time for the children to leave for Sunday school right before the sermon. Nursery is available for infants and toddlers. A voluntary offering is collected during the service. If interested in participating, envelopes are available for receipt purposes. Around noon, the formal service wraps up but please plan on staying to join us for some refreshments after the service.  Dress ranges from jeans to suits. There is plenty of free parking and the main entrance is handicapped accessible. If you have any questions, feel free to drop us a line. We would love to have you come and visit us!
